5 Amazing November Events Not to Miss in Greensboro

After his days with The Police, Sting’s career took off, and you have the opportunity to see him back in Greensboro. The anticipation is long-awaited, too, as his previous performance was back in May of 2001. He’ll be performing alongside the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra. There is high demand for this legendary star to come back, so grab your tickets now while you still have time. It will take place on Saturday, November 20th, at 8 p.m. and again the following day at 7 p.m. at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts.

What college student doesn’t love a good laugh? It would only make sense that King got started in comedy as a freshman in college. His “RAW” style is something young adults can relate to. He has the impeccable ability to make thousands of people burst out laughing because they can relate to the situation. For only 25 bucks, you can get tickets to see him perform at the Comedy Zone at a special event on November 5-7.

Current events in November wouldn’t be the same unless you started the holiday season off right. You’ll find that everything you love about a favorite time of year is in one location. You can find a unique gift for your mom or dad early, gather intriguing ideas to decorate your dorm room, or overeat on some of the fabulous food they’ll have. The 3rd annual 5k at Westerwood returns on Sunday, November 7th, at 2 p.m. Grab a group of your friends and run along with the scenic Westerwood neighborhood. Not only will you get some exercise and have a great time, but you’ll also be supporting two excellent and local charities: Backpack Beginnings and Greensboro Urban Ministry. In true 5k fashion, you’ll pass along some impressive displays throughout memorable movies, such as The Wizard of Oz and Ghostbusters. What 5k would it be without the chance to enjoy a cold beer and a bowl of hot chili following your race? The reward is well worth your efforts!
